People often ask "What made you pursue a career in Interior Design? My answer: I swapped bedrooms with my sister every year because one bedroom was larger by 2 feet and my Mom didn't want to show favoritism. Both bedrooms had identical furniture so the only difference between the rooms was the inspiration I could inject into the room. I carefully positioned the furniture, arranged stuffed animals on the bed and added a few of my own design elements. From that early experience I learned that room design can make you feel good.
